You can remove your data from Purpost at any time. Here is exactly how, and exactly what gets deleted.
The Purpost app has no user accounts. The app never collects your name, email address, phone number, or payment details. The only things we store are the access tokens for the social accounts you connect, and any posts you have scheduled. If you joined the early-access email list on our website, see "Leave the early-access email list" below.
In the Purpost app, open Settings and tap Delete my data at the bottom, then Delete everything.
This immediately erases everything listed under "What gets deleted" below, on our servers and on your phone. If a post is being published at that moment, the app asks you to try again once it has finished, so nothing is left half-posted.
In the Purpost app, open Settings, tap ⋯ next to an Instagram or TikTok account and choose Disconnect, or tap Disconnect next to your Facebook Page.
This immediately deletes that account's access token from our database, so we can no longer access it. For an Instagram or TikTok account, its scheduled posts are cancelled too.
Deleting Purpost from your device removes everything stored locally: your drafts, your post history, and your connection details. Your iPhone doesn't tell us when an app is deleted, so we delete what we hold for your device when we learn of it: when we send a notification and Apple reports Purpost is no longer on your phone, or when the app hasn't contacted us for 90 days and nothing is scheduled. To delete everything right away, use Delete my data before deleting the app.
To have everything we hold on our servers erased, email support@purpost.app from any address and ask us to delete your data.
If you know your device identifier, include it — you can find it in the app. If you do not, tell us which Instagram or TikTok username or Facebook Page you connected and we will locate it.
We action deletion requests within 30 days, and will confirm by email once it is done.
If you signed up at purpost.app/early, tap Unsubscribe at the bottom of any Purpost email, or email support@purpost.app and we will remove your address from the list.
Posts that have already been published live on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, not on our servers. We have no ability to remove them. Delete those from within Instagram, Facebook or TikTok directly.
Disconnecting in Purpost removes the token from our database, but because the token was issued by Instagram, Facebook or TikTok it may remain valid on their systems until it expires. To revoke it completely:
